Sheraton Subang - Rebranded to Grand Dorsett Subang

Effective from October 1 2009, Shetaton Subang will be rebranded as Grand Dorsett Subang, a project that is in tandem with the current refurbishment and upgrading that will take a period of 12 months.

Grand Margherita Hotel Kuching - Renovation Update

The renovation on Grand Margherita Hotel Kuching will commence work starting Monday, 10th August until mid-December 2009. Construction will be carried out in two phases. Below are the areas which will be upgraded :

Phase 1 (10 August to Mid - October 2009)
1. Main Reception Lobby
2. Rajang Lobby Bar

During Phase 1, all check-in and check-out operations will be conducted at the area near the hotel's main entrance, and venue for all-day dining remains at the Orchid Garden Coffee House.

Phase 2 (Mid-October to Mid - December 2009)
1. Orchid Garden Coffee House
2. Ground Floor Public Washrooms (Serapi Wing)
3. Ground Floor Function Rooms (Sadong Room & Serapi Room)
4. Lift Cars (Sadong Wing)

During Phase 2, venue for All-Day Dining will be relocated to the Meisan Restaurant on the 1st Floor. The swimming pool, guestrooms and other function/meeting rooms will not be affected although there may be some noise disturbance, particularly during the initial renovation period. In order to minimize any inconvenience, the renovation work will only be carried out from Monday to Saturday between 9.00am to 5.00pm. Rest all necessary measures to ensure aspects of safety, security, and comfort of the guests continue to be the hotel's priority during this time.
