KUCHING: Sarawak's oldest national park, the Bako National Park, continues to be a popular destination for local and foreign tourists in the state, receiving an average of 80 visitors daily, Sarawak Forestry Department director Datuk Len Talif Saleh said Wednesday.

KUALA LUMPUR: Tourism Malaysia's domestic tourism campaign, ZOOM! Malaysia, today launched its advertising campaign in Singapore and could be seen on the Lion City's SMRT trains, busses and taxis. Under the current Tourism Malaysia market structure, the Singapore and Brunei markets are under the purview of Malaysia's domestic promotions division.

Lone Pine Hotel will be closed for renovations from April 1st to October 31st 2009.

Lone Pine Hotel will be partially open (26 rooms only) by November 1, 2009. However, the completion of the renovations will be between 18 to 24 months from April 1, 2009.
