Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year is a festival celebrated for 15 days. Family reunion feasts and open houses are being organised to welcome relations and friends. "Ang Pows" or little red money packets are given out to children by the elders. Lion and Dragon dance performances are also featured to commemorate the festival.

Kindly be informed that Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu is due for refurbishment for the guest's deserving comfort and convenience. Their current work-in-progress involves the extension of the ballroom, refurbishment of rooms and upgrading of the hotel public areas in order to serve all guests better in the near future.
Refurbishment works for the public areas shall be completed by 31st May 2009. The hotel shall endeavour their best to minimize any discomfort and inconveniences that may caused to their guests during this period - whereby business shall be as usual. |
