Kindly be informed that Hyatt Regency Kinabalu will begin the first of a four-phase renovation in May 2009/ The transformation covers the hotel's 288 guestrooms and suites, the Regency Club @ Lounge and the creation of a modern swimming pool.
Phase One will cover 80 guestrooms on the higher floors and hotel;s Regency Club Lounge and is scheduled for completion in November 2009. Phase Two of the renovation will be completed in the first quarter of 2010, and will cover an additional 80 rooms, while the remaining rooms and the upgarded swimming pool will be completed by end of 2010. |

As part of the rebranding plan to enhance the quality of facilities at Grand Margherita Hotel, the property will be undergoing renovation works from late June to December 2009.
The affected areas and renovation timeline are as follow:
1. Lobby (expected to start from late June to September 2009)
2. All-Day Dining Restaurant (expected to start from late June to September 2009)
3. Rajang Lobby Lounge (expected to start from September to December 2009)
During the renovation of the Lobby and All-Day Dining Restaurant, check-in will be conducted at the Serapi Wing Lobby, whilst all-day dining will be at our Meisan Restaurant on the 1st Floor. |
