Shangri La's Golden Sands Resort Penang

Sigi's by the Sea, the beachfront restaurant will be closed effective 08 Oct 2008 to facilitate upgrading works. The project costing is US $2.5 million and will involve a complete furnishing of the restaurant, enhancing its tropical flair and expanded to include additional open-air upper decks for a cool al fresco dining experience. The restaurant, scheduled for completion by first quarter of 2009 will reopen providing an exciting family - orientated dining concept by the beach.

Every effort will be made to minimize any impact on guest experience. Upgrading works will be confined solely to the Sigi by The Sea area, and will only take place between 10.00am till 6.00pm daily, with minimal construction on Sundays and Public Holidays.
